Grivel G12 Cramp-O-Matic Crampons – Alpine Climbing Hardware

Description

A classic 12-point crampon designed for general mountaineering, alpinism, mixed ice and rock climbing, and moderate waterfall routes.

The four points that are perpendicular to the crampon rails, prevent shearing in soft snow and improve security while descending (facing outward). The crampons are fully adjustable by hand. G12 is easily folded for transportation and comes with Antibott. The Antibott is the flexible, plastic sheet underneath the crampon that prevent snow build and is essential for safety in wet-snow conditions.

The Cramp-O-Matic binding uses a stiffened wire bar for both toe and heal bails providing a firm and secure attachement especially when spending a lot of time on the front points.
