With these MSR Evo tails you can easily adapt to changing snow conditions or to your own payload by simply sliding them on and locking the nuts. They give 6 inches of extra float which makes a huge difference in soft powder or when you are carrying a large pack. Having a snow show and tail combination also means in icy and crusty conditions you can run shorter, more nimble snow shoes and you’re not stuck with the big 30 inch model.
