Description
A groundbreaking glove for the outdoor industry!
The Outdoor Research BitterBlaze Gloves mark a new era in outdoor technology with their use of Primaloft Aerogel. This thin, 1.5mm thick insulation is used by NASA in their gloves and spacesuits. It has the amazing property of insulating even when compressed, plus it is flexible and dexterous. The palm and fingers of the OR Bitterblaze gloves are lined with this Aerogel insulation giving unrivalled warmth and dexterity, meaning it is perfect for alpine climbing, ice climbing, skiing and much more. The back of the hand has Primaloft Gold 133g/m insulation and the whole thing is Gore-Tex lined and completely waterproof.Â
On top of all the NASA Aerogel technology, the Outdoor Research Bitterblaze glove features a host of details that you’d expect for one of the worlds top quality alpine gloves. A pre-curved shape that is begging to hold on to that ice axe, Pittards® Oiltac goat leather palm with water-resistant goat leather overlay that is reinforced in all the high wear areas and a low-bulk velcro cuff.Â
