Description
The Outdoor Research Cirque Pant has been the favourite choice for Mountain Equipment staff and customers when heading above the snow line. Now Outdoor Research has released the long awaited Cirque II Pant. Coming from experience, let’s be clear – if you are doing high exertion activities above the snow line like mountaineering, ice climbing, back country skiing, alpine rock climbing or snow showing then there is nothing more versatile and durable as the Outdoor Research Cirque Pants.Â
Â
The OR Cirque Pants are a soft-shell pant that is highly wind and water resistant while having awesome breathability. It has 4-way stretch and is durable enough for climbing or back country skiing. The key thing about this pant is that it is breathable enough to wear on the valley approaches when temperatures might be around 15ºC, but is weather proof enough to be trudging up a snow slope at -15ºC. They can also be boosted in warmth with some thermal long johns if needed.Â
Â
New for the Outdoor Research Cirque II Pant is the introduction of OR’s ActiveTemp technology through the waistband which is a thermo-regulating treatment. A new beacon pocket and improved fit are also in there.Â
